Unifor 707 Collective Agreement 2020

The agreements only partially took into account the massive concessions granted to companies following the 2008 insolvency crisis. When negotiations began this year, the hourly wages of workers, adjusted for inflation, fell by 16% compared to 2008. This is because the base rate has been frozen all the time and the annual cost of living allowance (COLA) has been suspended.
